Springtime Fun on the Farm

We celebrate spring on the farm with our annual Skeet Shoot, the Wool Days Festival, lots of Easter fun, and concerts in the country! Enjoy our animals and attractions, good things to eat, and family entertainment.

Easter Egg Hunt, Breakfast with the Bunny … and more!

Friday/Saturday, April 19-20, 2019 | 11am and 1pm | Admission info

Bring your own basket for an old-fashioned Easter Egg Hunt! We divide the little hunters into groups by age (ages 1-4 and 5+). Exchange your eggs for a fun treat bag after the hunt! Plus, enjoy a Scavenger Egg Hunt, where clues lead you to Easter eggs around the farm!  Once you find all 12 eggs, you will return your carton of eggs and get a prize. The Scavenger Hunts will be going on throughout the day.

Breakfast with the Bunny
Watch for details about our yummy breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Tickets may be purchased online.

Saturday/Sunday, April 19-20, 2019 | 9am-2pm
Admission $10 per person, ages 3 and up
Watch sheep shearing and purchase fleece!
Food and fun for the whole family.

It’s a great learning experience to watch the process of shearing sheep, and you can purchase fleece that you have watched being sheared! In addition, visit the Brand Wall in our Antique Barn! During Wool Days, the barn will be open with a fire ready for folks to sizzle and burn their own brands onto the wall.  It’s our way of recognizing our neighbors and members of the local community — and celebrating the history and culture of rural Louisiana.

Springtime events admission includes:

Hop-hop-hop on the Jumping Pillow.
Zip along the Beeline (if you’re 100-pounds or lighter)!
Bump around on the Animal Barrel Train.
Enjoy playground time:
Diggers Sand Pile, Tire Pyramids, Dirt Mountain slide, TetherBall courts, the old Bull Wagon, Corn Barn, Rubber Duck Races, Ring Toss, and more!

Visit the Historic Turner Homestead, see our Brands Wall, and tour the Antique Barn display of vintage tools, equipment and more!
