Special Home School Days for CM Farms!
We have set aside 2 days for the home schooling community:

  • Wednesday, October 12, 2011 9a.m. – 2p.m.
  • Thursday, November 10, 2011 9a.m. – 2p.m.

If you are unable to make your field trip reservation on these days please remember we have many other dates for you to reserve your field trip.

Check our Calendar for field trip date availability, then make your reservation online!

Check out our curriculum at www.CornfieldMaze.com. The curriculum is age appropriate for a 3rd grader and above. The curriculum is NOT required.

All MAiZE participants go through a brief orientation prior to entering into the maze. The MAiZE rules, method for getting in and out of the maze and other valuable information is shared during this orientation. The method for finding your way in and out of our maze is by answering questions on a variety of “passports”. The multiple-choice questions guide you with your correct answers onto the correct pathways within the maze. Answer incorrectly and you GET LOST!! The passports range in level of difficulty. The easiest, The Tiny Tots Passport, is easy enough for a 3 yr. old to do! Or as we like to say here at the MAiZE ”The Tiny Tots Passport is great for the directionally challenged adults!” The passports are available at the MAiZE only.

Some tips for your visit

Drinking Water: Teachers, please be sure you provide your students with plenty of drinking water. Our water supply is not potable, however, we have bottled water for sale.

Facilities: The South Texas MAiZE has a concession stand and bathrooms with hand washing facilities.

Food: Picnic areas are available and you are welcome to bring a sack lunch.

Clothing: Please dress as if you are going camping. No sandals or open toed shoes.

Safety: This is an ALL OUTDOOR ACTIVITY. Please check your student’s records for “bee” sting allergies. There will also be hay bales for the students to sit on and play on, so please check on any allergies pertaining to hay straw.
